Three stages, and the last one is ours. The journey is part of it — and that is why the Villa is never crowded.

Where the Villa is

The Villa is on the Arapiuns River, west of Alter do Chão and 90 minutes from it. There is no road there — which is what keeps the river empty.

What people usually worry about

  1. What if my flight is delayed?

    Let us know on WhatsApp as soon as you do. We rearrange the time with you.

  2. Do I need to book the trip to the Villa separately?

    We arrange the logistics to the Villa with you on WhatsApp, along with your booking and before the trip.

  3. How long does it take from Santarém to the Villa?

    The Alter do Chão–Villa leg takes 90 minutes. The time from Santarém to Alter do Chão depends on the transfer, and we arrange that with you.

  4. Is there mobile signal?

    Mobile signal is intermittent. The house internet is Starlink, stable, and it supports online meetings and remote work. Settle beforehand whatever needs settling, and tell anyone expecting news.

  5. Can I bring children?

    You can. Tell us their ages when you get in touch, so we can think about the accommodation and the pace of the day together with you.

  6. Are there mosquitoes?

    Hardly any. The clear water and sand beaches of the Arapiuns have far fewer mosquitoes than the floodplain Amazon.
